Valentines Gift Ideas Sleepless in Seattle

Sleepless in Seattle

Probably one of the all time favorites for romantic movies because the story climaxes on Valentine's Day in New York City at the top of the Empire State Building just at closing time. Seattle is known for seafood so shrimp, crab or lobster would be appropriate for dinner. Finish off with a coffee flavored dessert. Add a floppy teddy bear and you're set.

Wuthuring Heights
A stormy, dark and rather sad love story with a stormy dark hero and a rather sad heroine. It takes place on the English moors. The 1939 version with Merle Oberon, Laurence Olivier and David Niven is one of the best. Add a copy of the classic book to the gift package along with a cozy throw. A bouquet of heather would be the perfect touch. Dinner? Well the English aren't known for their cuisine but roast beef would be good.

Valentine's Day Gift: Cook Her Favorite Dish

Make sure she understands that you're doing the cooking that night.

For example: If her favorite dish is lasagna, the gift would include no cook lasagna noodles, a jar of good marina sauce, a hunk of Reggiano parmesan cheese, olive oil, cheese grater, pot holders, bottle of Chianti wine, fresh mozzarella cheese and ricotta cheese.
